Lexington Academics offers a six-class course for middle and high school students with the objective of developing thoughtful, capable writers capable of coherent and consistent prose.

 

Topics include:

  • Finding your subject

  • Improving the flow of your writing

  • Finding appropriate hooks to engage the reader

  • Supporting your argument

  • Conquering writer's block

  • Working on grammar, development, and using textual evidence.

Each student receives a personalized checklist, tailored to specific areas of concern, which they should consider before submitting work.
