With a background in biochem and law, Cy practiced patent law before returning to her first love – ancient history – as a late-in-life grad student at Stanford. In addition to regularly writing theatre criticism for several west coast websites, she has written for numerous educational publications, including education.com, Sage Publications, Milestone Documents, Cultural Sociology of the Middle East, Asia and Africa, KnowYourself, SproutLabs.net, and others. She has coached students for over ten years.
